Care Guide
Caring for your blanket is simple! Follow these steps and your blanket will only get softer with every wash.
Washing
Machine wash cold with a mild detergent on a gentle cycle with like colours. Skip the fabric softener. Softener leaves a chemical residue that coats the fibres, which can cause the blanket to pill and lose its softness over time.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. High heat can shrink the fabric, potentially melting fibres and breaking down elastic or moisture-wicking weaves (fibres that pull sweat away from your skin and push it to the outer layer of the fabric).
DO NOT
Do not iron or press with heat. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener.
Pet Hair
Before washing your blanket, give it a good shake outdoors or run a lint roller over it to remove unwanted hair. Removing loose hair first makes the wash more effective.
Storage
Wash and dry your blanket completely. Store folded in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Avoid sealing it in plastic for long periods of time so the fabric can breathe.
